As a mother of three young daughters, Mama Katie has been teaching and caring for young children for over a decade. She began her journey exploring early childhood education while participating in a parent/child group at the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2009, she decided to homeschool her daughters and during this period, she discovered her love, dedication, and commitment to providing a nurturing early childhood for a broader community. In 2016, she founded Tierra Madre Preschool in her home which continues to nourish the young children of the greater Santa Fe area today!
